Sorry for my post yesterday. I was really upset. )=

I had just gotten a phone call from my dad that my brother, sister, and almost-brother (sister's fiance) had been in a car accident and were being taken to the hospital.

Emotional? Ah - yes. I really was. >.>

BUT!

Everyone is okay! (Thank goddess.)

From what I know, the car was cut off by another car and there was nowhere to go - no shoulder. To avoid causing a huge traffic accident, the driver swerved back to the other side - where there was no shoulder. The car finally tipped and rolled over - 1.5 to 2 times. They stayed in the median between two sections of an interstate. Horray grass.

Anyway.

Everyone is FINE.

Hysteria was uncalled for.

Dear lord. Two posts in one day. The world is going to end. It's coming.

In any event. Here's the reason for this particular post.

I've been pondering taking a road trip to meet someone. And, well, let's be honest with one another, internets. The very fact that I'm actually thinking about it scares the shit out of me. Like nothing else. The last time I did that, it exploded spectacularly. Took a year to do it - but it did. Took me too long to get over it. Anyway.

There's no pressure. The invitation to take this road trip is open. Indeed, I don't even *have* to take it. It's just - there.

Bah. Meh. It's like - I wanna go - but - I don't wanna go. And the very fact that it's all no pressure is - oddly - not helping. Mleh.

There you go! A day in the head of Pandora of late.

Oh - and I volunteered to be in someone's wedding party today. Because the person she wanted to be in it was being a flake. This would be a completely different road trip. And, oddly, I have no qualms in making this one. What's up with that? O_o

I just received your letters from the postman and realised that I have not updated this since long before Shakespeare wast a boy...
You would not believe my anguish at my misdoings. I prostrate myself in sorrow and beg thy forgiveness..

I am lost in a sea of pseudo-olde-english with waiting for a fine young gentleman to propose, being distracted by the shiny, just generally being asleep, dreaming and chancing to society in general, my day is passing in a blur from the light through yonder window breaks to way past dusk. I am looking at rectifying this. perchance.

I won't promise anything to you but I will try to remember my blog password more often in future. Sincerest apologies. This is for my ever faithful, devoted public..

My birthday is in 8 days. Eight. WHEE! I'm a little excited about it, but not much. My birthday is usually pretty boring, to be honest. But, you still have to be excited. Something interesting could happen. You never know. Maybe I'll finally meet the love of my life while I'm at the bookstore. It could happen. Right? Sure, why not. (;

Anyway. I've decided what I really want. It's silly and makes no sense, but I want it anyway.

I have to tell you, I highly recommend doing absolutely nothing on your Sunday. It's fantastically relaxing. ::grins::

I slept in, had a nice breakfast, played Titan Quest for a while. Then, I messed around online and watched television. Mostly Food Network. Love me some Food Network. Then, I got to play some Titan Quest with Yoshi. Any game you can play with a friend makes it that much more awesome, I gotta say. (; Rick visited for a bit and we played some more Puzzle Quest. He brought cake for my birthday and I felt a trifle ill after eating it. I think I had Daniel's problem with the sugar. Oy. Not so fun. I gotta tell you. :/

Rick goes home tomorrow morning, so hopefully, he will drive safely. Drive safe, Rick! (=

I have tomorrow off. Yes, that's right. I am off on a Monday. Horray for dead Presidents! (= They give me a day off from work. Totally awesome. I plan on sleeping in and then doing some grading which I've been putting off all weekend. It has to be done. Ah, well. Such is life, eh?
